This piece is created with locally sourced vegetable tanned bovine leather, which is tanned using farmed tree bark under strict regulatory conditions in a commitment to the most ecologically friendly means possible. 

Each piece has been hand cut, then hand painted or dyed, and hand sealed. They will soften over time and with use, and wear will occur and is natural.

Bovine leather is a product of the recycling process that utilises the skins from the meat that humans consume. It has long been a part of the process of utilising all pieces of the animal. 

It is an organic product that will break down if it meets with the land. However, leather articles are intended to be used forever; with revival, restoration, and repair.
