ZAMBESIstore.com accepts returns for full-priced items only. Eligible returns may be refunded, exchanged, or credited once received, inspected, and approved.
We do not accept returns for socks, beauty products, or fragrances.
If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased from zambesistore.com, please contact enquiries@zambesi.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving the item/s.
Returns

Notification: Contact enquiries@zambesi.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving your garment with your order number and reason for return to obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). Returns without a RAN will not be accepted.

Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned with all original tags, packaging, and accessories intact. No returns or exchanges on sale goods, including those purchased with promotional or discount code, unless the goods are faulty or sent incorrectly.

Processing Fee: A $10 processing fee applies to all approved returns and will be deducted from refunds, reflected in credit notes, or factored into exchanges.

Shipping: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Use a tracked courier; we are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit. Returns must be sent within 7 days of receiving a RAN.

Refunds: Processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection. International refunds use the exchange rate at the time of processing.
No returns or exchanges on sale goods, including those purchased with promotional or discount codes, unless the goods are faulty or sent incorrectly.
Exchanges
- Contact enquiries@zambesi.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving your garment to request a RAN.
- Exchanges follow the same shipping and item condition requirements as returns.
- Once approved, replacement items will be dispatched at no additional shipping cost.

Online exchanges are available only for purchases made at ZAMBESIstore.com. In-store purchases must be returned or exchanged directly with the store of purchase.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
- Notify enquiries@zambesi.co.nz within 7 days of receiving the item.
- Once inspected and confirmed faulty or incorrect, we will repair, replace, or refund the item and cover all return shipping costs.
- ZAMBESI is not responsible for faults caused by alterations or repairs carried out by third parties.

Zambesi reserves the right to deny any returns that are made outside of the reasonable time of purchase.
Special Orders
Items purchased via Special Orders are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Gift Vouchers

In-store Gift Vouchers: Redeemable only at ZAMBESI Britomart or Wellington stores.

Online Gift Vouchers: Redeemable only at ZAMBESIstore.com.
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or expired.
- Please check your voucher’s expiry date and contact enquiries@zambesi.co.nz for assistance.
